With a lifetime of experience behind the turntables, and as co-owners of SOUP NYC, Love & Logic are staples in the underground house & techno community. Well known for their upfront mixing style and the ability to take the crowd on a musical journey, they are true party rockers on the decks. Their vast history in dance music allows them to seamlessly navigate through different styles of quality House & Techno music, dropping everything from unreleased tunes by today’s most cutting edge producers, to rare classics, to their own self-produced cuts. They released their debut single “Righteous Way” on the world famous King Street Sounds record label and haven’t looked back since. 2015 saw massive records from Love & Logic including hit singles “Big Booty Bitches” on Riva Starr’s Snatch! Recordings, and “Bicycle Seat” on the storied Guesthouse Music label. In 2016 they released their single “Hot Business” feat. Derrick Carter, on their own SOUP label, in addition to a massive EP on Junior Sanchez’s Brobot Records. Between their heavy skills in the DJ booth and top notch selection, Love & Logic are an act you never want to miss. Love & Logic currently hold an official monthly SOUP DJ residency at NYC’s world renowned Cielo nightclub, make regular appearances at the highly regarded Output & TBA venues, and have cracked into the festival circuit with a monster set at NYC’s 2015 Electric Daisy Carnival. Their steady release schedule and regular DJ appearances at Americas top venues have quickly earned them recognition as some of the US’s fastest rising DJ talents.
Love & Logic’s speedy success as a duo came as no surprise given their storied individual histories. Chris Love has been a stalwart in the US House Music scene since the beginning. In addition to founding the SOUP parties, Chris also founded Stuck On Earth; the company behind many of NYC’s largest and most successful events over the last two decades. As a DJ, Chris has been burning up dance floors since the 90’s and held residencies at the legendary Limelight and Roxy nightclubs early in his career. AB Logic has been a regular face on east coast DJ lineups since the late 90’s. He was previously known for his role as ½ of the Hoodfellas production duo, who released music on Classic Music Company, Hudd Traxx, Guesthouse, Greenskeepers, Sampled, and Smoke City Music, just to name a few. AB was also co-owner and current A&R of the well-respected Smoke City Music record label before its closing in 2013.
From humble roots as a teenage bedroom DJ in sub-rural Pennsylvania, Chris began playing out regularly at clubs and bars while still a minor in Philadelphia in 2001. Since relocating to New York City in 2007, he gained popularity as a resident DJ during the resurgence of the illustrious SOUP parties at Manhattan’s legendary Sullivan Room, and now holds down regular gigs on any given night for the dance music faithful at mainstays such as Cielo, Output, TBA Brooklyn, or at one of the city’s plethora of after hours parties.
Chris’s production influences are deeply rooted in classic deep house and garage, yet his eclectic selections during sets champion bass-driven, forward-thinking sounds regardless of genre labeling – albeit never at the expense of the pulse of the dance floor. After releasing a few tunes on a compilation for Sullivan Room Records in 2014, his debut solo release, Blessed EP, arrived in early 2015 followed up by remixes for Funky Element and Philly’s emby imprint. Following up his remix on SOUP’s inaugural label release, Chris’s sophomore EP arrived in the Summer of 2016 via Brooklyn’s Good Company Records featuring a remix from Walker & Royce, which was later licensed to the Space Ibiza 2016 compilation. Watch out for remixes coming up this fall on SOUP and Good Company Records.
Whether through his original productions and remixes, DJ sets, or duties as A&R for the newly launched SOUP label, Chris is intent on spreading the gospel of music to dance floors throughout the universe.

His consistent sets have also put him in the booth net to top names such as Derrick Carter, Kenny Dope, and Mark Farina just to name a few. Joe is also a part of the famed SOUP NYC crew who have claimed residencies at some of New York’s top venues including Cielo, and TBA Brooklyn, with regular appearances at Output and other east coast US venues.
